Reminder for O.E.S. -

If you are in HS or JH band, please bring something to cover your instrument with for the parade tonight!

6th graders in Mr. Perie's World History class had a fun day of "mummy-making" during their Ancient Egypt unit. They have been learning about Pharaohs, geographic locations, the Great Pyramids, and the Egyptian Empire.

Retake pictures and class photos will be taken on Tuesday, November 7th. If you would like your student to have retakes, please request them online at jostenspix.com. You can also tell your child's teacher to have them get their picture taken that day. If your child was not here on the original picture day then we will have them get their picture taken. Please contact Ms. Littlejohn at llittlejohn@oblongschools.net with any questions.

Tomorrow is the last day to get your OES yearbook ordered for this special deal!!

It’s that time of year again for our annual Art to Remember fundraiser. Get your child’s artwork on over 60 different products. These make amazing gifts as well as encourage our student artists. All proceeds go to the Oblong Art Department to help buy art supplies each year. Each child taking an art class 1st-12th grade will be bringing home an order form.

For community information:
From time to time the Oblong High School football field is used as a helicopter landing space for medical evacuation. When this happens it does not mean it is something that has happened to a student. When a helicopter is landing, we need the community to stay clear of the high school area, not only for our students' safety, but also for the health care workers and emergency personnel. Thank you for your assistance in this in matter.

Our OES Pre-K program and Mrs. Sholders received The Gold Circle of Quality Recognition! Congratulations! We are so proud of you! Mrs. Sholders is pictured with Ms. Sophia and the A.M. Pre-K class!
